Originally, the land on which Lake Edge Resort stands was home to a sawmill operated by King & Jones. In 1979, the sawmill ceased operations, and Club Yarrawonga 11 was acquired, marking the beginning of the development of the timeshare apartments we see today. Subsequently, Club Yarrawonga 11 was rebranded as Lake Edge Resort, which now boasts over 1,400 owners.
